Dear Tim and Eldon,

It's hard to believe it's been more than a week since we left Gullway Shores . We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, especially the stay in your beautiful home, and the warmth and hospitality of the both of you. The peninsula is such a beautiful place and had so much to offer that we barely scratched the surface in a week's time. We hope to return sometime in the future, to both the Bruce and to Gullway Shores . And it goes without saying that Karen and I both miss Tim's gourmet breakfasts tremendously (although I needed to add another notch in my belt when we got home).

Again, thanks so much for the wonderful time and for your uncommon hospitality. We hope this finds you well, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Warm regards,
Jim

Dear Eldon and Tim: Just a quick note to reiterate how much we enjoyed staying at your house.  Sometimes I get homesick when I am away from my "stuff" but at your house I was very happy being surrounded by your "stuff".  Your home exudes casual elegance and your hospitality makes one feel that they've been invited over to a friend's house.  Breakfasts on the patio were wonderful.  And, of course, listening to the waves come in as you are falling asleep is heaven.

While I loved going to Larkwhistle (it was educational), your garden has living/recreational spaces as well as gorgeous flowers.  I took lots of garden pictures, so will be able to revisit your garden often.  By the way, I was happy to find plume poppy at Humber Nurseries.  I'm sure you know of this large, and very exceptional nursery at Hwy 7 and Hwy 50 in Toronto. Hope you will continue hosting a B&B because we hope to come back soon.
Take care, Shirley and Peter Boake

I've been to many B&B's over the years, and the Gullway was the most beautiful, but more importantly, the most comfortable.  At some establishments, you hope the host(s) will creep into the shadows so you never have to face them again.  But in your case, I hoped one of you would be around the corner so we could chat further.  And the pride you have in the property shows in both the landscaping/décor/atmosphere, and your verbal history of its evolution, both recent and past.  I think to find an experience unique, fun, interesting and relaxing is a damn good experience.

Many thanks again.  Sue and I would like to visit in the fall.  If you have any dates that are in the clear(through the week, etc.), and at your convenience, drop us a line.  No pressure as I'm in India until Sept. 6 th .
Tad.
PS: I proposed to Sue on your dock last night, at dusk over the glassy water (to an audience of fishing boats).  After a ten year trial, she's decided to keep the goods.  This is the effect of your enchanting property.  Perhaps you should add a disclaimer/warning to the website.

Thank you so much again for your generosity in our stay. We both enjoyed the beauty of the space you've created and the warmth of your company.

Greetings. Marg and I enjoyed your hospitality immensely - great getaway. - a class act - many thanks - you've captured two more boosters. Unearthed a photo of 2003 The Three Graces, Marg, Sister Ann, Daughter Heather. . . . . .  and the frog pond - I missed getting the garter snake dropping in for a snack.
